I recently posted this article in the Middle East Caucus section, but then realized that it is extremely relevant to all delegations since they are all policymakers in the SALMUN.

This article is about sanctions. Basically it talks about how sanctions work and if they are effective by analyzing past examples of sanctions and positive incentives in nations such as Iraq, Iran, Ukraine, North Korea, Libya, India and Pakistan. It is quite long, but a must-read to all delegations! Because this is a guide to policymakers, and you guys are policymakers, please read this!
